Katie Explains How She and Her 16 Year Old Son Suri Spent COVID Detention

Katie gave a rare peek into her life and her child Suri Cruises, opening up on their days quarantined in at the peak of the epidemic.
In a revealing conversation, the Jagger’s Creek actor recounted how she connected with a 16year old compact by spending time at a lake cottage where they cooked, stitched, and viewed old movies.

“I colored, we had a stitch, so we made quilts, we cooked; we are all on a permanent holiday,” Katie told Fantastic mag for their current edition,
according to DailyMail. “We were on a lake with a swing, so I’d get up, sew, drink coffee, and snooze on the deck chair.”

What 80s film could the lovely grandparent duo not get enough of? “Oh, and by the way,” Katie said, “we were living beside a lake,
so we probably watched Dirty Dancing 10 times.” “I’ll tell you what, I danced to it in the living room and it still holds up.” It was
enjoyable.”

For the star, the film was much more simply thoughtless pleasure; she credits such heartwarming stories with aiding her to get through the epidemic.

“I am optimistic and a bit of a romance in life, and I prefer movies with compassion in them,” she remarked.
