Season 6 of American Idol is set to premiere on February 19, and fans can’t wait to see who will rise to the top. But Katy Perry, the judge, already does this, albeit in a different, more fashionable way.
When she arrived at the CMA Awards in November 2022, the “Hot N Cold” singer had fans talking. Katy, who enjoys wearing unique outfits on the red carpet, stood out among the attendees in her light blue all-denim ensemble.
The look’s top featured a corset with a plunging neckline and straps placed off the shoulders. Katy wore flared pants with an oversized bow at the waist for her bottoms.
Given the danger of the ensemble, the ABC star kept the rest of the outfit to herself. She accessorized her Canadian denim tuxedo-inspired look with a diamond choker necklace, matching earrings, and pointed stilettos.
Her long dark hair was styled in her signature middle part. She completed the look with a bold eyeliner and rosy cheek and lip color.
When Katy later posted a video of her red carpet arrival on TikTok, American Idol fans reacted quickly. One recurring theme was how much they all enjoyed seeing her at the event.
“She is so beautiful,” one commenter said in the comments section. “It’s against the law to be this beautiful,” another user added. “The queen has returned,” said another.
Fortunately for us, it won’t be long before the Grammy nominee dazzles TV audiences with her impeccable style. Furthermore, she continues to astound people off-screen with her one-of-a-kind ensembles.
