End of love? Ben and Jen are selling their home, which was called their nest of happiness
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California property was listed only days after the couple spent the Fourth of July apart.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s Beverly Hills property has been up for sale after they spent the recent Fourth of July holiday on opposite coasts.
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California home was publicly posted on Thursday, July 11, about a month after a source told PEOPLE that Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, planned to sell the property.
In May 2023, the couple, who had been married since 2022, paid $60,805,000 for the 38,000-square-foot estate.
According to its listing, the residence was “recently renovated with the highest level of quality” and has amenities such as a bar, sports room, fully equipped gym, boxing ring, and basketball courts.
Josh Altman, a celebrity real estate agent and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star who is not involved in the sale of the home,
previously told PEOPLE about the challenges that high-profile celebrities may face when publicly listing their homes for sale.
“There’s always going to be people who pretend [to be potential buyers] because they just get a kick out of seeing a house or touring a house, or they want to see a famous person’s house,” he told me.
“I assume that the access is going to be extremely limited,” he mentioned. “It’s going to be people that are going to be as pre-qualified and [have] proof of funds as you could ever imagine before they get access to it.”
