Jennifer Lawrence has explained why she told Robert De Niro to leave her wedding rehearsal dinner.
In an interview with E! News, the Hunger Games actress discussed the specifics of her wedding to husband Cooke Maroney, including what it’s like to be the bride.
“It’s really stressful. You aren’t having fun. “You’re like, ‘Is that person having fun?'” Lawrence told the site, playfully adding that being a bride is “awful.””I’ll never forget, I was freaking out about the guests being cold,” said the 33-year-old, who married Maroney in October 2019.
“And all of my friends were lying they’re like, ‘Nobody’s cold, nobody’s cold, everything’s fine, everything’s fine.'”
“My mom was like, ‘It’s freezing out there, your grandmother almost died,'” according to Lawrence.
Lawrence went on to describe another incident at the event, when she instructed her close friend and fellow Hollywood actor Robert De Niro to “go home.”
The Oscar-winning actress claimed that she was concerned about how the 80-year-old was doing at her rehearsal dinner, particularly when it came to mingling.
