On Wednesday, October 30, the traveler—whose name is also Taylor—took to TikTok to share what she spoke with Scott Swift, the father of the “Karma” singer, when they were flying out of New Orleans. She claims that after watching his daughter perform at the Eras Tour’s Louisiana stop, Scott, who was heading to an undisclosed location, was sitting in the first row directly next to her.
The video begins with a little snippet of their conversation captured by another traveler before cutting to the travel agent saying, “I’m the girl that was sitting next to Papa Swift.”
She acknowledges that she had to confront the “elephant in the room” and ask Scott, “Are you Taylor’s Dad?” despite claiming she is not a “massive Swiftie” and was merely traveling through New Orleans on her way to Mexico.
